Postcards

2020-2021

The series started in 2020 as a mail art project from the impulse to connect with friends I could not see in person.The series has evolved and changed as I thought more about the postcard format as connected with travel, memory, and nostalgia. I imagine these drawings as postcards sent from some utopian future place; as an antidote to the strange and difficult present world.
